When it gets hot outside, it’s great to have a place like Van Leeuwen nearby! There are many in New York City, but the one we like to go to is one block south of St Marks on 2nd Ave.
They have many regular vegan flavors, plus two vegan rotating special flavors. They also use a variety of different plant based milks, which is really cool, especially if you really like a certain type of milk. Currently you can find ice cream made with Almond, Oat, and Cashew milk. We love oat milk, but cashew milk is a close second.

Even when it’s freezing outside, you can expect to find people (including us!) getting some of this amazing ice cream. They even have prepacked pints if you’d like to eat that much in one sitting… I mean socially distance.
