The vegan food court is a great place to try out many different vegan cuisines. There are three restaurants to try: VSPOT, Marty’s V Burger, and Veggie Grub. You place the order with the server at one counter for all three restaurants and the food is brought out to your table.

We were having a bit of a break from health foods today, so we got the Popcorn Tofu Fried Chick’un from Veggie Grub and an Empanadas from VSPOT. It’s rare that you find a deep fryer which is exclusively vegan, is what we told ourselves when we ordered. Truth be told, everything was delicious.

Popcorn Tofu Fried Chick’un from Veggie Grub

The Popcorn Tofu Fried Chick’un was super crunch and well spiced. We were having it with ketchup and BBQ sauce but wow you don’t even need it! Nice and spicy, not too dry, it is as good without sauce.

Empanadas from VSPOT

We asked for the servers three favorite Empanadas. They chose the Philly, the Jamaican, and VSPOT. They look similar but the taste is varied and perfectly sealed by the flaky crust.

We need to go back and try the more “healthy” options but for now we are giving the Vegan Food Court two greasy thumbs up!
